ABCUL Autumn Conference
We’re presenting at ABCUL’s Autumn conference this year in the Ettington Chase Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon from Friday 4th November to Sunday 6th November 2011.
Recent press coverage on changes in the banking system have focused on the ‘Vickers’ report and splitting retail banking from ‘casino’ banking in order to protect the taxpayer. It would be easy to think this was the main area of change. However there is also huge innovation happening in the supply of banking services with new channels such as mobile banking offering greater convenience for the consumer.
What will all this mean for credit unions? Come along to this workshop on Saturday morning to hear from Paul Kennedy, a partner at Bayberry Consulting. Paul will talk about global and UK trends in the card market, mobile banking and give us all a sense of what banking may look like in the future.
